Job description
The Payments Services team within Core Services oversees the operation and development of the company's domestic and international payment systems. They are also responsible for managing the company's compliance screening processes. The team is involved in complex domestic and international financial services projects, often including pilot initiatives.Software Engineer

Prerequisites and skills
Software Engineer- More than 5 years of software-engineering know-how, especially in Java, but also Python, Perl, Shell,…
- Experience in designing and implementing resilient and scalable applications running on container platforms (ie. OpenShift/Kubernetes)
- Strong background in developing and testing microservices and APIs (Java 21, Spring boot 3), knowledge developing Angular frontends is beneficial
- Know-how in SQL- and/or NoSQL databases (Oracle, Postgres, Elasticsearch, Redis,…)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and monitoring of applications
- Extensive analytical skills
- Occasional standby-duty is not a show-stopper for you
- Very good knowledge of English, German skills are beneficial
- More than 10 years of software engineering know-how, especially in Java, but also Python, Perl, Shell,...
- More than 6 years of experience in designing and implementing robust and scalable applications running on container platforms (e.g. OpenShift/Kubernetes)
- Strong background in developing and testing microservices and APIs (Java 21, Spring boot 3), knowledge of Angular front-end development is an advantage
- Knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases (Oracle, Postgres, Elasticsearch, Redis,...)
- Experience in IT infrastructure administration, i.e. Linux, application servers,...
- Strong knowledge of modelling languages and software design documentation
- Strong analytical skills and experience in technical infrastructure management
- Occasional standby duty is not a problem for you
- Very good English skills, German skills are an advantage

Further information
- Location: Košice (50% of month on-site). Once a month, or once every two months, on-site in Vienna.
- Start date: by agreement
- Type of contract: full-time (no B2B contract allowed)
- Salary: Engineer from 2800 €, architect from 3500 € gross per month for this full time position
- Visa sponsorship is only offered to people who are already physically present in the Slovak Republic.
