Senior QA Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to help increase automated test coverage and reduce the need for manual testing. Your role will involve defining what needs to be automated and implementing tests using modern tools like Playwright.
Job description
- Test Planning and Execution: Design and implement test scenarios and cases based on project specifications and requirements.
- Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
- Bug Analysis and Reporting: Identify, document, and track system bugs, collaborating with the development team for resolution.
- Quality Assurance: Actively participate in improving quality processes and adhere to quality standards within the team.
- Mentoring and Training: Sharing knowledge and best practices with other QA team members
Prerequisites and skills
- Experience: At least 5 years in automated testing, ideally in a B2B environment.
- Testing Mobile and Web Applications:
- Proficiency in Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Appium, Espresso.
- Programming in TypeScript, JavaScript, C#; scripting in Python or Java.
- Experience with Dynamics or Salesforce is a plus.
- Testing Methodologies: Ability to create effective test scenarios and knowledge of TDD or BDD.
- Analytical Skills: Problem-solving and designing testing strategies; experience with JIRA is a plus
- Communication: Clear and effective communication; mentoring skills are welcome.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate and support colleagues.
- Language Skills: Basic English is essential.
- Certifications: ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation or Advanced Level) is a plus.
